Microgreens

Microgreens with Real Fruit Extracts.

Palm Life Microgreens is a focused, one-gram microgreens supplement built around 400 mg of named, precision-grown microgreens—15 varieties chosen for the breadth of plant chemistry they bring, not for yield.

It’s formulated with a compact flavor system and nothing else riding along: no spirulina, no added B-vitamin premix, just the plants. Small is part of the design—less to swallow, less flavor to mask, and an honest boundary around what the product does.

The Hidden Problem

The Problem

The Hidden Problem

Most microgreens marketing leans on numbers that sound bigger than the science supports. The well-known "up to 40×" figure refers to one measured nutrient, in one crop, from a single study—not 40× of every nutrient in every microgreen. "Equivalent to X heads of broccoli" graphics ignore that a seed that could become broccoli is not a head of broccoli, and that fresh-weight math is dominated by water, not nutrients.

Even a deep green color reflects pigment, not a nutrient dose. Most growers also pick a handful of high-biomass crops for yield, so "greens" too often means sameness. Crop identity, amount, growing process, and actual test results are what determine what a finished ingredient delivers.

The Farm Is Part of the Formula

Palm Life's growing partner uses programmable, zoned controlled-environment agriculture — every variety gets its own recipe, not a shared average. Here's what a crop-specific recipe controls:

Light spectrum

Different wavelengths trigger different carotenoid, anthocyanin, and glucosinolate pathways.

Temperature

Shapes germination speed, enzyme activity, growth rate, and stress response.

Watering & root-zone oxygen

Supports root function, nutrient delivery, and uniformity.

Harvest timing

Microgreen chemistry changes quickly over a short life cycle — harvest day is a formulation variable.

You can't optimize fifteen different plants with one room climate. Each Palm Life crop doesn't get the average climate — it gets its own.

Why 15 Varieties Matters

What’s in Every Serving

"Microgreens" is a category name, not a single nutritional ingredient. Species, cultivar, and growing environment all produce different chemical profiles — so a broader crop portfolio creates a broader phytochemical portfolio.

The Difference

A Genuinely Pesticide-Free Process

Palm Life’s process uses zero pesticides or sprays of any kind—not just those disallowed under conventional standards, but also sprays permitted under organic rules. Growing is soil-free and hydroponic, with a clean, controlled root zone, and indoor cultivation removes exposure to pesticide drift from neighboring farms.

  • No pesticides. No sprays. Not conventional, not organic-approved.
  • Soil-free hydroponic growing, with a clean, controlled root zone.
  • Indoor cultivation eliminates drift exposure from outside operations.
